A large part of your role will be to manage our programme for corporate fundraising. You’ll therefore need to have strong interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills, as well as good writing skills for proposals, presentations and news pieces for website and press. You may have worked in another area of fundraising or have transferable skills from the corporate sector, but you’ll have the skills and passion to make a big contribution to this aspect of the role.
We’re a small team so you’ll also be involved in other areas of fundraising – this could be writing trust applications, supporting community groups with their fundraising, doing challenge events promotion or helping at our events.
You’ll be a self-starter who can manage their own workload and be willing to get stuck in during this exciting time for Leeds Mencap. With excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be able to engage with people at all levels and spot opportunities to support our fundraising growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and developing local charity.
The closing date for this role is Thursday 1st February 2018. Interviews are scheduled to take place on the Thursday 8th February 2018.
Any offer of employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two acceptable references.
Please note that CVs will not be accepted. No agency applications please.
